Winter Winsome Warriors: 5 Beauty Favourites

If you live in a cold climate like me, you’re thankful you’ve almost survived February.

Even if just barely, ugh, enough arctic this that and whatever already!

Hibernating would be nice, but isn’t really an option for most of us. So, we must protect our delicate visage with major moisture and tender-loving-wear (ha, see what I did there!?)

Here are my 5 favourites to fend-off a frosty figure:

01.
The Body Shop Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover

This little dream bottle will not only remove all kinds of stubborn eye make-up, it also leaves your eyes feeling fresh and moisturized, you can almost feel the chamomile sinking in! Mmmmm…

02.
Eau Thermale Avène Clearance Gel

Once the make-up is off, wash your face with this luxurious French cleanser. You only need a little, and the bubbles spread out, take over and do the rest. This is the face wash I swear my, it is responsible for clearing my student-skin when I was incredibly broken out in university. I still use many products from their line and am never disappointed.

03.
Batiste Dry Shampoo

Ok, so dry shampoo may seem like a bit of an odd winter-saving beauty product, but if you have hair as fine as mine, it truly is! All this moisturizing is great for my skin, but my hair tends to pick up any and all access oil it can find. This product smells great, last all day, helps hold a curl, gives my hair more volume, and I need a lifetime supply of it.

04.
The Body Shop Satsuma Body Sorbet

I’m not entirely sure what body “sorbet” is, or where it falls on the spectrum between body lotion and body butter, but I do know that it’s fantastic. It’s nice and light so it’s easy and quick to apply, while still providing lasting moisture. It also doesn’t take forever to sink in and leaves you smelling like a delicious orange! Yum.

05.
La Mer Moisturizing Gel Cream

You’ll notice I have the smallest most adorable container of this fabulous cream. That’s because it’s very pricey, so as you’ll expect it’s also amazing. This cream is like no other, it perfectly balances deep penetrating moisture while providing a lighter-than-snowflakes fluffy application. This product is so good, my mom and I split the large container and share the joy!

Stay warm, cozy and beautiful while exploring the tundra (or the city…)
